Affar G. Okhaimor, CEO/Publisher

Mr. O.T.G. Affar is a business facilitator and a creative specialist. He Studied German Studies at the University of Ibadan. In 2002, he attended Goethe Institut for his compulsory “A Year Abroad Programme” with scholarship from the Deutscher Akademischer Austauch Dienst (DAAD) for a cultural and language immersion programme. He also attended a course organised by the Nigerian Institute of Management in 2005. He served in the editorial unit of the State National Youth Service Corps during which he got a State Award for his selfless service. He had a career training with P2P Media Partners; a weekly Newspaper, where he also worked as head of circulation, marketing and books. He later joined Die Affare Ventures as the Managing Director distributing books and magazines to customers in Nigeria and overseas. Affar is a member of the European Journalism Centre and Alumniportals Deutschlands.

As the Editor-In-Chief and Chief Executive Officer of Kontakte Kommunications Limited, he oversees the company’s activities and represents the company both home and abroad, seeking ways to bridge the gap among the continents.


Michael Odichi-Dan Ugorji, (Project Director) PhD, mnipr, arpa 

Mr. Ugorji is a Strategic Communications professional with years of experience in Communications consultancy and management. He holds B.A & M.A both from the University of Lagos, Nigeria and PhD in Performance & Media Studies from the University of Mainz, Germany.He belongs to the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NiPR) and is a Registered Practitioner of Advertising registered with the Advertising Practitioners’ Council of Nigeria (APCON). He has managed a number of Corporate / Person Brands in Advertising & PR. Before beginning a doctorate in Media Studies in 2009, he was the Public Relations Manager of Lonestar Drilling Nigeria Limited. He has had a history of consulting for NGOs and CBOs within and outside Nigeria. He was a volunteer Research Assistant with the Department of Economic and Social Affairs at the United Nations Headquarters in New York, USA. He worked directly under the Secretary General’s project, Global Alliance for ICT and Development (GAID).



Rafiu Laguda, Production Director

Mr. Rafiu is a scholar, experienced airlines sales professional, a polyglot and a photographer.

Rafiu attended University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria and graduated with a Bachelors degree in German and a Masters degree in Translation( English-German). He equally studied at the Metropolitan College of New York, where he bagged his Masters in Public Administration, he recently completed a advanced diploma in The Art of Negotiation: From Global to Local from the New York University School of Professional Studies
As a Protégé of the Peter Hurley School of Photography, New York, he was trained at the International Centre for Photography, USA.

He has over 12 years experience in the aviation industry as a key account sales professional. His careers spanned International airlines namely Lufthansa German Airlines ; Emirate Airlines, Delta Air line Inc and Arik Air International.

He has visited over 40 cities across Europe, Middle East, West Africa and United States of America. His professional skills includes the followings:- Account Management, Sales Account Executive, Relationship Management, Strategic Sales, Business Development, Translation and Photography.


Ingrid Schaefer is the personal instructor and adviser to the CEO of Kontakte Kommunications.
